Broker Dealer Place is a division of Forest Brokerage Advisers (FBA) which connects buyers and sellers of FINRA-member securities brokerage firms (BD's). We represent purchasers and sellers of State and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulated Registered Investment Advisors (RIA). We maintain listings of BD's and RIA's ranging from shell operations (inactive/dormant companies that can be upgraded) to fully operating revenue-producing enterprises.

Selling
To sell a BD or RIA with FBA:
Complete the Seller Profile form online
An FBA representative will reach out to discuss the process in detail
Value your listing to establish offering price
Introduction of potential, qualified buyers to seller
Offers will be submitted in writing
Execute Purchase and Sale Agreement with upon acceptance of offer
Initiate FINRA approval process (1017 – Material Change of Ownership).
Buying
The process for buying a BD or RIA through FBA is:
Complete the Buyer Profile form online
An FBA representative will reach out to discuss the process in detail
Determine purchase price range of acquisition and review listing on BDP
Engage negotiations with seller
Offer submitted in writing
Execute Purchase and Sale Agreement with upon acceptance of offer
Initiate FINRA approval process (1017 – Material Change of Ownership).
